Tackle It Tuesday
I am cleaning out DH's old office. I finally consoldiated all the old tapes and got rid of dupicates and anything related to his old business. No need for reminders. I still have a lot to do but I'm working on it one Tuesday at a time.

Sleeping Angel
This is my entry for the Sleeping Angel contest at http://www.5minutesformom.com/ She fell asleep in her high chair. Got up to get a drink and she was out when I got back. I think she would be more comfortable sleeping in a Lily Rose bed. To check out more "Sleeping Angels" click here.
Football
My son started playing flag football. His first game was September 24. His team won. The next game was the following Saturday and his team lost. Raymond said that was probably because the other team was much more organized. Our coach is a new coach. S has games on Wednesdays and Saturdays and practice most Thursdays. I love it when he picks a sport and goes all out for it. Maybe if we train together we'll both get in better shape.

Works for Me Wednesday
This is my first Works for Me Wednesday post. I love it when my children put their own clothes away. Little children can't reach the rod though. I put a low rod in my son's closet when he was three and he has been hanging up his clothes ever since. He is now almost 10. When my daughter (who is now 6) was 3, I did the same thing for her. Love that they put their own clothes away. To get more ideas, click here.

Twilight
This is a book by Stephanie Myers. Yes, it is the book about vampires but its not blood and guts or gory. I don't like those kind of books. This is actually a romance with issues (don't all romances have issues?). I started reading the first book last week. I feel like I haven't been able to put any of them down. I read the second book "New Moon" over the weekend. I am currently on the third book, "Eclipse" and loving it. I resisted for so long because it just didn't sound intereting. I have to borrow the books from my mom. She practically forced the first one on me. I had it for at least a couple weeks since my sister had dropped it off.

Preschool
Today, we read 2 books about squares. Silly Shapes Squares by Sophie Fatus and My Full Moon is a Square by Elinor J. Pinczes. We read poems about cows. We talked about where they lived and the sound they make--moo. We also talked about the letter A. We named the letter and the sounds it makes as in cat and angels.

Preschool
This is the second day of doing a preschool with my 2 year old. So far, her favorite activity has been coloring. We are following the Brightly Beaming Resources preschool outline. This week we talked about cows, read about cows, made cow puppets, colored cow pictures, read poems about cows, acted like cows, etc. We also talked about the letter A and the sounds a makes phonetically. Next week we are going to be talking about the jungle and jungle animals and focusing on the letter B. If you would like to join my friends and I on our preschool journey, you can go to http://www.letteroftheweek.com/Preparatory.html. I hope to be posting once a week about my adventure.
Tackle It Tuesday
This is my second Tackle it Tuesday. I decided to clean out the playroom. All the toys in the closet is the toys they don't play with. The toys they do play with are the ones all over the floor. So, I cleaned out the closet and put all them in boxes ready to take to goodwill. What was left all over the floor was put in the closet. Now all they toys fit. Now they all have a place to go. We'll see if that helps the floor stay any more clear than before. To see more Tackle it Tuesday projects, go to http://www.5minutesformom.com/160/tackle-it-tuesday-update/

Tackle It Tuesday
a href="http://www.5minutesformom.com/">
I finally finished all the hemming for my daughter. I cut off all her jeans with holes in the knees and made them into shorts. She now has a few more shorts that she can wear to school and I have a few dollars left in my pockets
